Special exhibition by Aydem Energy for May 19 “Atatürk Through the Eyes of 19 Young Artists”

ydem Energy celebrates the 19th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day with the digital exhibition titled  “Atatürk Through the Eyes of 19 Young Artists”. The exhibition, which can be visited on the website of Aydem Energy, features portraits of Atatürk prepared with different techniques, from embroidery to filigree, from oil painting to collage.

Aydem Energy, one of the leading players in its sector, has carried out a meaningful project special for the 19th of May – the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. The company organized a digital exhibition with the theme of “Atatürk through the Eyes of 19 Young Artists”. Within the scope of the project, which also celebrates the 103rd anniversary of Atatürk's landing in Samsun; young artists have been asked to prepare portraits of Atatürk from their own perspective.

As the result of the study conducted in cooperation with BaSE, with the newly graduated young artists of Fine Arts Faculties across Turkey, 19 portraits have been selected among the art works prepared using different techniques, from oil painting to digital illustration, from embroidery to filigree, from photography to collage. The art works of Buket Özen, Çiğdem Akgün, Emrah Ateşli, Ersen Boğutekin, Fatma Ziya, F.N., Kübra Kılıç, Mustafa Mutlu, Mustafa Yılmaz, Nesligül Cebesoy, Simge Demirel, Sinan Orakçı, Tolga Akmermer, Tuğba Akça, Umut Bahçeci, Veysel Daşçı, Volkan Parlak, Yaren Karakaş and Yelda Kaya can be viewed in the digital exhibition that will be published on the website of Aydem Energy(www.aydemenerji.com.tr).

With the project that allows the works in the exhibition to meet with the art lovers in a digital environment; it is aimed to celebrate the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day with the new portraits of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and to ensure that new works reflecting him are shared.

Celebrating the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, Aydem Energy Corporate Communications Group Director Zeynep Arayıcı Korzay stated, “We wanted to celebrate the 19th of May – the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day with a different project this year. We have accomplished this work both to support our young artists and to commemorate Atatürk with portraits reflecting him through the eyes of young people, in honor of the meaning of May 19. In order to share this excitement, we have opened the images of these works created with different techniques to public to be accessed by anyone who wishes to. In such a project of importance, İt is very valuable for ourselves to support our young artists together with BaSE and to open new Atatürk-themed works to the access and sharing of everyone.”
