Our affiliate Aydem Renewables was among the supporters of the 11th Turkish Wind Energy Congress, which has been organized in Izmir between the dates of October 31 and November 2. Ömer Fatih Keha, the General Manager of Aydem Renewables, has taken floor at the panel titled “Is there a need for a change in capacity allocation mechanisms?”. Keha has said, “Every player in the industry, now needs more MW in terms of mastery and investment.’’
Reminding that a new allocation method, which is storage, has been introduced, Keha said, “We should allocate the most of our time to this field. The industry has evolved towards this. Storage systems have capacities to connect approximately 15 thousand MW and 20 thousand MW of energy. The industry is experiencing its mastership period. We, as Aydem Renewables, are no longer would like to work on projects of 20 - 30 MW, but instead, with the financial power of our 1020 MW installed capacity we repose upon, we would like to get engaged in bigger projects. Such big projects shall take us a step further. Every company has forward looking untouched projects. Every player in the sector is a master and in terms of investment, we need more MW. We are excited about this. We are following the system.”
We have also participated in the career festival organized as part of the Congress. We have provided information about renewable energy to the students who have visited our stand and answered their questions.
