Engin Kavas, our Information Technologies Group President, has taken floor as a speaker in the panel titled "The Impact of Global Trends on Companies' Technology Strategies and Investments" at the Technology Leaders Summit organized in cooperation with DataExpert & BMI. Engin Kavas, explaining how we benefited from technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning in decision-making processes in electricity distribution , has shared his views on the potential of smart grid services made possible by Advanced Connectivity technologies in electricity distribution, and said: "By using Smart Grid, intelligent networks in other words, together with other real-time communication infrastructure complementary technologies, it is aimed to create an environmentally friendly system that can sense energy overloads, regulate energy flow directions, optimize the use of renewable energy resources and reduce user costs. Within Aydem Energy, we have group companies focused on the installation of renewable resources and especially solar energy- based electricity generation infrastructures that will contribute to the security of energy supply, on the inclusion of these structures in the grid and on smart grid solutions."
Engin Kavas, who was named among the "50 Most Influential Technology Leaders" determined by evaluating the successful works of the top technology executives of Turkey's leading companies and their significant contributions to the business world, has received his award at the ceremony held after the summit.
